Securing a tired looking one bedroom Victorian ground floor flat in fashionable Clapham, it didn’t take long to transform this into a stunning two bedroom garden flat, perfect for entertaining and hosting summer barbeques. By digging deep foundations at the side and rear of the existing house, we could add some serious square footage that allowed for a large extension to be built, creating an open plan entertaining space. Installing 12′ wide bi-folding timber doors at the rear leading to a decked area, making the living space that much larger. By creating this large entertaining space, it gave us ample space to create a second bedroom and large bathroom, to turn this tired one bed flat into an exceptional two bedroom home.
